| Atsipopoulo, one of the most picturesque suburbs of Rethymnon, is only 8 minutes away from the center of Rethymnon and 7 minutes from the 13 km long beach west of Rethymnon. Its climate conditions are mild and refreshing even in summer, due to its situation some 100 m above sea level. Atsipopoulo has amongst others, 2 supermarkets with ATM, a bakery, several nice taverns and coffee shops, and the buses to Rethymnon run frequently, making the village an ideal destination for visitors who wish to combine the beauty of Rethymnon with the pleasures of living in the countryside. |
