This restaurant belongs to my family for more than 50 years. It was originally a Greek coffee shop (kafenion) where my grandmother used to serve the local people of the harbor. Foreign visitors and sailors used to meet here arrange their business matters and discuss their problems. My parents took over the business and turned it into a restaurant. As Rethymnon grew bigger and attracted more visitors, the KNOSSOS restaurant welcomed more and more customers, who over the years became good friends. Apart from fresh fish, we always give you a little piece of our heart.
